Every stitch can be made using many different colored yarns.
Some techniques for simple, uniform and recurring stitches are based on creating patterns from two or more colors:
- Intarsia and jacquard
- Tapestry crochet
- C2C
In order to effectively make attractive crochet products from yarn of more than one color, we must master changing colors and hiding any remaining threads both during the crocheting process and after the finishing of the piece.
To achieve colorful design without using two or more balls of yarn, we can purchase materials that are dyed colorfully in parts, or are made with multiple strands that are of different or changing colors.
